Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) for community care shifts in Port Hope/Cobourg and surrounding areas. We offer days and evenings with full and part-time opportunities, a $500 sign-on bonus, and benefits.

You will provide in-home support, travel between clients, and contribute to a compassionate care team across Canada. We support growth through education bursaries and training, and provide tools like a mobile device and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW).
• RN or RPN registration or status.
• Nursing student with 2 clinical placements completed.
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support to clients in community settings.
• Travel between clients with mileage and paid travel time.
• Maintain client safety, dignity and comfort during care delivery.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements - MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
