Job summary

SE Health is hiring Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in Collingwood. Positions are Full Time & Part Time, Day and/or Evening with mileage and travel time covered. A $1,500 sign-on bonus and relocation bonus accompany great benefits and a supportive team environment.

SE Health is a long-standing not-for-profit social enterprise delivering care across Canada. The role requires a valid PSW certificate or nursing credentials and willingness to work varied shifts with weekend

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required for daily work.
• RN/RPN license or nursing credential recognized in Canada.
• Nursing student with 2 clinical placements completed.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma is accepted.
• Foreign trained healthcare professional – Nurse may qualify.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
