Job summary

SE Health is hiring Part Time - days and evenings Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community care shifts in Pickering. This is a replacement position with an established not-for-profit health organization offering mileage and travel time coverage, uniforms, and staff perks.

Applicants should hold a PSW certificate or a relevant nursing qualification, a valid driver's license, immunization and VSC requirements, and availability for day or evening shifts including every other weekend.

• Valid PSW certificate.
• RN or RPN license preferred.
• Nursing student with 2 clinical placements.
• Developmental Support Worker Diploma is valid.
• Foreign trained nurse considerations.

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
