Job summary

Home Instead is actively recruiting caregivers in Sudbury to help older adults stay safe in their own homes. We provide paid training, benefits, and a flexible schedule with 24/7 support and caregiver rewards to recognize dedication.

We seek certified PSWs, 2nd year nursing students, and RNs to deliver companionship, hygiene assistance, meal prep, light housekeeping, and more. Full-time, part-time, and casual shifts are available to fit your life.

Qualifications

• Certified PSW, nursing student or RN with appropriate credentials.
• Experience in personal care is preferred or a willingness to learn in a fast-paced home care setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and families.

Description

Home Instead is looking for certified, Personal Support Workers (PSW), 2nd Year Nursing Students, and Registered Nurses (RN). Those with the courage and willingness to leave the safety of their own homes to make sure the most vulnerable stay safe in their own home.

Home Instead provides a variety of non‑medical services that allow our clients to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Companionship
• Hygiene Assistance

• Medication cueing
• Personal care assistance .Keeping accurate records of care
• Properly maintain communication regarding:
• Client activities-Progress-Concerns
• Treat & care for clients & their property with dignity & respect

Alzheimer’s & Dementia Care Requirements to be a Caregiver

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check

Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references

• Previous personal care experience is required/or the willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment*

Full-Time, Part-Time & Casual hours available. We have a variety of shifts available, as we are available 24/7 for our clients!
