Job summary

Home Instead Ottawa is seeking compassionate and dependable PSWs to support seniors in the community. 6A approval preferred; vaccinations and background checks are required. You’ll travel between clients and provide companionship and daily living support, while building meaningful connections.

We offer flexible scheduling, bi-monthly direct deposit, and opportunities to grow in a supportive team environment. This role welcomes multilingual candidates and values compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a 6A PSW approval.
• PSW certification required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Clear Criminal or Vulnerable Sector Check prior to hire.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof (accommodations available).

Responsibilities

• Support seniors with daily living activities and companionship.
• Travel between clients for 1–2 hour visits.
• Provide meal preparation assistance as needed.
• Foster compassionate, respectful connections with clients and families.
