Job summary

Home Instead is recruiting PSWs, Health Care Aides, Nursing students, DSWs, and internationally-trained nurses in the Barrie, Ontario area to provide in-home care for adults and seniors. If you have a caring heart and dedication to helping others, you are invited to join our team and grow with us.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check.
• Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references.
• Complete mandatory, paid CAREPro orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and medication reminders.
• Assist with meals and daily activities.
• Support Alzheimer’s & Dementia care and personal hygiene.
• Maintain communication with office staff and coordinate care.
