Job summary

Home Instead in Gravenhurst is seeking caring PSWs, Health Care Aides, Nursing students, DSWs, and internationally-trained nurses to support adults and seniors in their community.

We offer paid ongoing training, pension and benefits, monthly incentives, and referral bonuses. Duties include companionship, meal assistance, dementia care, hygiene support, and coordinating with our office staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check.
• Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references.
• Complete mandatory, paid CAREPro orientation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and medication reminders.
• Assist with meals.

• Support clients with Alzheimer’s & Dementia care.

We’re looking for responsible, dedicated professionals who can give their clients the best individualized care. Requirements include:
