Job summary

SE Health is currently hiring Full Time and Part Time Personal Support Workers (PSW) for community care shifts in Napanee and Belleville. We offer a $3000 sign-on bonus, mileage and travel time coverage, great benefits and a supportive team.

As a PSW you will meet immunization requirements, hold a valid PSW certificate (or RN/RPN as applicable), have a valid driver’s license with daily vehicle use, and be available days or evenings and alternating weekends.

• Nursing student with 2 clinical placements completed
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR evenings and every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
