Job summary

SE Health in Collingwood is hiring Full Time Personal Support Workers for Community Care. You’ll receive mileage coverage, travel time, and a $1,500 sign-on bonus plus relocation support. The role requires a driver’s license and ability to meet immunization, VSC, and CPR/First Aid requirements.

Availability for days or evenings and every other weekend is expected. SE Health is a not-for-profit social enterprise delivering community health services across Canada.

Qualifications accepted to work as a PSW:

• Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
• RN or RPN
• Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
• Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
• Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
• Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
• Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
• Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
• Availability to workdays OR eveningsand every other weekend
• This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement
