Home Instead is recruiting PSWs, Health Care Aides, Nursing students, DSWs, and internationally-trained nurses in the Bracebridge area to support seniors with daily assistance.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Complete a criminal background check with a vulnerable sector check.
• Provide 2 professional and 2 personal references.
• Complete mandatory, paid CAREPro orientation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and medication reminders.
• Assist with meals.
• Provide Alzheimer’s & Dementia care.
• Assist with hygiene (e.g., bathing, toileting).
• Maintain communication with office staff.
