About the Client:

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a senior woman in Belleville who values her independence but needs support to continue living comfortably in her home. She's experiencing some memory changes and feelings of loneliness, making companionship just as important as practical help. She's mobile and manages her personal care independently, but household tasks have become challenging. She previously had a caregiver in Vancouver whom she really enjoyed, so she understands the value of having consistent support. She can drive and handle grocery shopping on her own, but would benefit from company during errands if she chooses.

We're seeking a compassionate caregiver for a senior woman in Belleville who values her independence but needs support to continue living comfortably in her own home. She's considering retirement living but wants to try home care first. She previously had a caregiver in Vancouver whom she really enjoyed. She's experiencing some memory changes and feelings of loneliness, so companionship is just as important as practical help.

Responsibilities:

• Light housekeeping including vacuuming, washing floors, and general tidying
• Laundry assistance
• Meal preparation to ensure she's eating nutritious meals rather than relying on convenience foods
• Companionship and conversation to help combat loneliness
• Accompanying her to the grocery store if desired
• Taking initiative to identify and address household needs

Two visits per week on Mondays and Thursdays during daytime hours, with each visit lasting 2 hours. The family is flexible on exact timing and willing to coordinate with the right caregiver's availability. This is a long-term position for someone looking for consistent, meaningful work with the same client.

The client will be involved in the selection process and must feel comfortable with her caregiver, as she'll be paying for the service herself. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in helping someone remain independent in her own home while providing the companionship and practical support she needs.

Pay & Hours:

CAD$27.00/hr
