Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee in Kamloops. You will engage customers, resolve banking questions, and guide them to the right team for solutions. The role emphasizes building trust, promoting digital channels, and supporting daily transactions.

You should bring a High School diploma and 1+ years of experience; IFC within 90 days; MS Office proficiency; and strong communication skills. Mobility within the district is required.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
  • IFC or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
  • Post-secondary or undergraduate degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and branch software.
  • Knowledge of banking solutions to advise customers.
  • Self-starter with strong planning and time management.

Responsibilities

  • Engage customers in day-to-day needs, service transactions and digital education.
  • Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions.
  • Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking trends and usage.
  • Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and resolve issues.
  • Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience.
