Job summary

TD Bank Group in Thornbury, Ontario, is seeking a Personal Banker Trainee to help customers achieve their financial goals by offering guidance on everyday banking, investments and credit solutions. You will conduct financial reviews, answer questions, and collaborate with team members to provide personalized advice while maintaining confidentiality and a high level of service.

A mobility clause may relocate you within your assigned district after training.

Qualifications

High school diploma or 1 year relevant experience.
Post-secondary degree is an asset.
IFIC or equivalent required.
CFSA must be completed within 12 months, if hired.
Real estate secured lending/investment experience an asset.
Knowledge of investing and credit processes.
Proficiency with MS Office and web applications.
Tactful communicator with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Advise customers on high level financial solutions from a range of investment and credit banking options.
Ask thoughtful questions to engage customers and build positive experiences.
Provide personalized financial advice and maintain confidentiality.
Serve as a point of contact for frontline staff and resolve customer issues.
Prepare documents in accordance with regulations reflecting business intent.
Collaborate with teammates to review portfolios and suggest personalized solutions.
Stay informed on regulations and participate in process improvements.
