The Josie Hotel Rossland in Rossland, BC is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our Kitchen Team. You will clean, transport, and store china, glassware, and utensils, while maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas.

Qualifications

• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and back of house areas.
• Monitor dishwasher temperatures and chemicals.
• Use the deep hand washing system as required.
• Break down dish machine, wash dishware, and sort/store clean china, glass, and silver.
• Empty trashcans and wash inside/outside areas.

Responsibilities

• Keep tile walls, floors, and baseboards clean.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as needed.

Here is what you will be doing each day:

As a Dishwasher, you would be responsible to clean, transport and store all china, glassware, cooking equipment / utensils and silverware. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle, and back of house areas.
• 2. Ensure the dishwasher temperatures and chemicals are monitored.
• 3. Use of the deep hand washing system as required.
• 4. Break down trays, set up dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glass and silver using proper procedures.
• 5. Take back to assigned areas all cleaned and sanitized items.
• 6. Empty trashcans and wash inside and outside.
• 7. Thoroughly clean dock area and dumpster.
• 8. Break down dish machine and clean inside and outside.
• 9. Clean tile walls, floors, and baseboards.
• 10. Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
