Job summary

Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites in Victoria, BC is seeking a reliable part-time dishwasher for a 1-2 day per week role (Thursday and/or Friday) with additional shifts possible for holidays or sickness coverage. You will support our busy kitchen by washing dishes, pots and glassware, and helping keep prep areas clean and organized.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys working in a team, and has dishwashing or stewarding experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-functional team environment.
• Stewarding/Dishwashing experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload commercial dishwasher with all dishes, glassware and cutlery in need of cleaning.
• Collect, wash and return all pots and pans from the kitchen area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage and prep areas.
• Follow established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
• Act as an Ambassador for the Chateau Victoria Hotel and Suites.

Come work with us at Vista 18! This is a 1-2 day a week position on a Thursday and/or Friday plus additional shifts can be offered for holiday relief and sick calls. We are looking for a reliable and team orientated individual to join our hard working kitchen team.

Responsibilities & Duties include

• Load and unload commercial dishwasher with all dishes, glassware and cutlery in need of cleaning.
• Collect, wash and return all pots and pans from the kitchen area.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage and prep areas.
• Follow established procedures and policies when completing tasks.
