The Crest Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC is hiring a part-time Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. The dishwasher is a key part of the kitchen and guest experience, and helps maintain a fast-paced, clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using the commercial dishwasher and manual methods.
• Load and unload the dishwasher, ensuring items are cleaned and stored.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and surrounding work areas.
• Sweep and mop floors to keep a clean and safe kitchen.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking food supplies and kitchen materials.
• Safely handle, use, and store cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and participate in training.
• Ask questions and communicate with team to ensure clear duties.
• Work efficiently with a positive attitude and deliver high-quality work.
• Support the kitchen team with other duties as assigned.

We're hiring a Dishwasher in Prince Rupert, BC to join our kitchen team at the Crest Hotel. The dishwasher is a key part of the kitchen team and the guest experience, and it's important to us that the person in this role cares about their coworkers and our guests. This is a part-time position that needs someone hardworking and efficient, who values doing their work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for this job include washing dishes, glassware, pots and pans as well as loading, unloading, and operating our industrial dishwasher. This is a busy job and we need someone who can commit to showing up reliably to their shifts and is willing to bring a can-do, ready-to-learn attitude. We want to see someone who strives for quality, pays attention during training, and is willing to both ask lots of questions and even request additional training if necessary. We want to see you succeed, and we're willing to work with you to make that happen.

Aside from dishwashing, your responsibilities will also include sweeping and washing the floors, assisting in receiving and sticking supplies and products, and safety handling and storing cleaning products. Proper handling of chemicals in a kitchen environment is critical, and this will be part of your training.

We're offering $20.02 per hour for this position as well as benefits like medical and dental in addition to flexible shifts and employee perks. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada to hold this position and some experience in kitchen environments is nice to have, but otherwise we're more interested in your work ethic and team spirit than anything else.
