Job summary

PEPSICO BEVERAGES CANADA is hiring a Full-Time Millwright Mechanic to repair and troubleshoot food production equipment with a focus on preventative maintenance. Tasks include welding, machining, ammonia refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, plastics manufacturing, material handling, and PLC work.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certification required.
• Minimum one year electrical experience in a food plant environment.

PEPSICO BEVERAGES CANADA - Full-Time Millwright Mechanic.

The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for repair and troubleshooting of our food production equipment with continued attention to preventative maintenance. Schedule

Friday - Monday 10 Hour Shifts.

Compensation

• This is a full-time position that requires open availability including weekends.
• $40.85 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities.

• At least 18 years of age.
• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic Millwright certificate.
• 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate is an asset.
• Minimum of one-year previous electrical experience in a food plant environment.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Must be able to read and write English as there is possibility of severe injury to self or others due to nature of work.
• Familiar with the safe operation of hand tools.
• Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility.
• Must be able to work with minimal amount of supervision in a fast-paced environment.
