Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages is seeking a Fleet Mechanic in Canada to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose vehicle issues using predictive software, and conduct repairs as needed within a team-driven environment.

The role emphasizes safety, modern diagnostic tools, and hands-on training by an experienced team. Expect 4 x 10-hour shifts weekly (Sun-Wed, 9:00–19:30) with competitive hourly compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be certified HET / 310T Journeyperson.
• Must have valid Driver's License in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience with preventative maintenance on class 6/8 trucks and industrial equipment.
• Must be able to provide own tool set for the work.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned.
• Leverage predictive diagnostic software to aid in eliminating vehicle breakdowns.
• Diagnose vehicle failures and perform mechanical repairs and replacements as required.
• Respond to local road calls and/or coordinate service support as necessary.
• Performing all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner.

Our (Enter Location) team is currently looking for a mechanically minded individual to ensure our fleet is running safely and smoothly. This role is perfect for people who are passionate about automotive excellence and are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills with our experienced team.

Compensation:

• $45.70 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

Schedule:

• 4 10hr shifts/week
• Sunday - Wednesday 9am - 7:30pm

• Welding and electrical experience
• Class 1 / AZ preferred

Physical demands and working conditions:

• You can lift/carry and push/pull up to 100lbs
• You are comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment
• Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching and grasping
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime as required
