Job summary

GAMARC Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Millwright to support production lines with preventive and corrective maintenance. The role involves reading manuals, installing and tuning hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and fabricating parts via lathes and milling machines.

You will ensure equipment reliability, follow safety policies, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a clean, safe work area and meeting PM/CM schedules.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Fast paced environment and strong teamwork emphasis.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment troubleshooting.
• Preventative and corrective maintenance experience.
• Fabrication/welding/machining capabilities are a plus.
• Previous food manufacturing experience is an asset.
• Electrical knowledge is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Read equipment manuals and blueprints to complete installations, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Inspect and examine equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjust equipment and repair/replace defective components.
• Operate lathes and milling machines to fabricate parts for overhaul or setup.
• Assemble equipment prior to installation using hand/power tools and welding equipment.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize safety, efficiency and reliability.
• Complete Work Orders according to PM and CM schedules.
• Comply with bakery food safety, health and safety and environmental policies.
• Ensure work area is clean of debris and hazards; follow LOTO policy; perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Maintenance Millwright on the team, your primary responsibilities will include examination, troubleshooting, replacement/repair of a wide variety of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic components. In addition, you will provide technical support to the production team during runtime hours to ensure optimal functionality of all production equipment within the facility. Utilizing the internal asset management system, your daily downtime routine will include preventative, corrective and facility maintenance. Additional tasks/duties maybe required to meet operational demands.

Job Responsibilities:
