Job summary

PepsiCo Beverages Canada is seeking a Full-time Fleet Mechanic to keep our Canadian fleet running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair vehicles, and respond to service needs with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes the use of advanced diagnostic technology, training, and a strong safety mindset within a modern work environment. Overtime opportunities are available as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be certified HET / 310T Journeyperson.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in preventive maintenance on Class 6/8 trucks and industrial equipment.
• Must provide own tool set for the work.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Leverage predictive diagnostic software to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
• Diagnose vehicle failures and perform repairs/replacements as needed.
• Respond to local road calls or coordinate service support.
• Carry out duties in a safe and productive manner.

Our team is currently looking for a mechanically minded individual to ensure our fleet is running safely and smoothly. This role is perfect for people who are passionate about automotive excellence and are dedicated to showcasing and developing their technical skills with our experienced team.

Compensation

• $41.55 per hour with full-time hours and overtime opportunities

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned

Additional skills you may have (not required, these are assets)

• Experience with propane and electric forklifts, hydraulic liftgates, agriculture equipment, reefers, vans,pickupsand cars
• Welding and electrical experience

Physical demands and working conditions

• You can lift/carry and push/pull up to 100lbs
• You are comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment
• Must be able to perform frequent standing, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting,reachingand grasping
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime asrequired
