Job summary

Raise is seeking a PeopleSoft Functional Configuration Advisor for a major client. This remote Canada-based role focuses on optimizing PeopleSoft HCM configurations and advising on best-fit solutions to business needs.

You will collaborate with HR, Benefits and Payroll teams, map requirements to standard PeopleSoft capabilities, and drive configuration decisions. A strong background in UAT, testing strategies and stakeholder communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of PeopleSoft HCM functional consulting experience.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM modules and business processes.
• Experience with functional configuration and application maintenance.
• Strong requirements gathering and business process analysis skills.
• Experience with functional testing, UAT and regression testing.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing business processes and recommend configuration improvements.
• Evaluate delivered PeopleSoft functionality versus custom development.
• Support configuration activities across HR, Benefits, Position Management and Payroll.

• Prepare functional documentation, process maps and configuration recommendations.
• Advise on testing strategies, regression testing and business process validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional advisory services across PeopleSoft HCM modules.
• Assess existing business processes and recommend configuration improvements.
• Evaluate delivered PeopleSoft functionality as an alternative to custom development.
• Support configuration activities across HR, Benefits, Position Management and Payroll.
• Analyze business requirements and map them to standard PeopleSoft capabilities.
• Review existing customizations and identify opportunities for simplification.
• Prepare functional documentation, process maps and configuration recommendations.
• Advise on testing strategies, regression testing and business process validation.

Required Qualifications

• Canadian public-sector HRMS experience.
• Experience supporting collective agreements and unionized workforce environments.

• Experience supporting provincial or territorial government HR environments.
