Raise is hiring a Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Lead / Developer for a remote, 36-month contract. The role focuses on leading maintenance and production support for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2, applying CPU and tax updates, and guiding deployments.

You will troubleshoot complex PeopleCode, App Engine, SQL issues and mentor other developers while advancing customizations and integrations. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in PeopleSoft technical development, strong PeopleTools and Application Designer

• 10+ years of experience with PeopleSoft technical development and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and Application Designer.
• Strong development experience with Application Engine and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle databases and PeopleSoft data structures.
• Experience supporting complex production environments.
• Experience with PeopleSoft customizations, integrations and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of maintenance, testing and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical application maintenance and production support activities for PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Review and assess Oracle Critical Patch Updates (CPU) and payroll tax updates to determine application impacts.
• Conduct technical impact assessments, development, unit testing, regression testing and deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQL and integration issues.
• Maintain and enhance existing PeopleSoft customizations while identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary custom development.
• Support application upgrades, patches and technical improvements.
• Collaborate with functional and infrastructure teams to resolve application issues.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers.
• Maintain technical documentation, deployment records and change management documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in PeopleSoft technical development and application support.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Expertise in PeopleTools, PeopleCode and Application Designer.
• Strong development experience with Application Engine and SQL.
• Experience working with Oracle databases and PeopleSoft data structures.
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex production environments.
• Experience with PeopleSoft customizations, integrations and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of application maintenance, testing and deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PeopleTools 8.62.
• Canadian public-sector payroll or HRMS experience.
• Experience supporting complex legacy PeopleSoft environments.
• Experience assessing and reducing customizations through adoption of delivered PeopleSoft functionality.
• Experience with Oracle payroll tax updates.
