Job summary

Raise is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Legacy Developer for one of our top clients. This remote, 36-month contract offers an opportunity to maintain and advance complex PeopleSoft environments.

Responsibilities include maintaining PeopleSoft objects, developing PeopleCode and Application Engine solutions, and supporting integrations, batch processing and payroll-related changes. The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years of PeopleSoft development experience and strong COBOL/SQL skills.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of PeopleSoft technical development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleCode and Application Engine.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining SQR programs.
• Working experience with COBOL development and maintenance.
• Strong SQL and Oracle database knowledge.
• Experience with PeopleSoft Application Designer.
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft HCM data structures and application architecture.
• Experience supporting custom integrations, reports and batch processing.
• Experience maintaining legacy enterprise applications.

• Analyze existing PeopleSoft customizations and recommend technical improvements.
• Support system changes resulting from collective bargaining agreements and payroll requirements.
• Conduct technical impact assessments and regression testing.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Document technical changes, custom objects and application dependencies.
• Support production issues and ongoing application maintenance.
