We’re looking for a People & Talent Specialist who is passionate about connecting great people with great opportunities while creating an exceptional Team Member experience.
As a key member of our People & Culture team, you’ll support the full talent lifecycle—from attracting and hiring top talent to onboarding, engagement, and ongoing People & Culture initiatives. You’ll work closely with Leaders across the organization, providing responsive, thoughtful support while helping us continue to build a strong, people-focused culture.

What You’ll Do
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
- Partner with Leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Create engaging job postings and manage postings across appropriate recruitment channels.
- Source and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, professional networks, referrals, and other sourcing strategies.
- Screen applicants, conduct interviews, coordinate Leader interviews, and support candidate selection.
- Deliver a professional, responsive, and welcoming candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Prepare employment offers and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and candidate information within our HR systems.
- Support recruitment reporting and monitor key metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipelines, and hiring trends.
- Onboarding & Team Member Experience
- Coordinate a seamless onboarding experience for new Team Members.
- Partner with Leaders to ensure new hires are welcomed, prepared, and set up for success.
- Support orientation and onboarding activities and continuously identify opportunities to enhance the new-hire experience.
- Conduct onboarding check-ins and gather feedback to help strengthen retention and engagement.
- Support Team Member engagement, recognition, culture, and People & Culture initiatives.
People & Culture Support
- Serve as an approachable first point of contact for Team Members and Leaders on general People & Culture questions.
- Support employment documentation, Team Member changes, and HRIS data accuracy.
- Assist with People & Culture programs, communications, surveys, training, and special projects.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of People & Culture processes, templates, and resources.
- Help ensure practices and documentation align with company policies and applicable Ontario employment legislation.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
What You Bring
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or a broader Human Resources role.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
- Strong interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A service‑oriented mindset and genuine interest in creating positive candidate and Team Member experiences.
- Confidence working collaboratively with Leaders at different levels of an organization.
- Experience working with an HRIS/ATS; Dayforce experience is an asset.
- Experience within property management, real estate, hospitality, or another multi-site environment is an asset.
- CHRP designation or progress toward the designation is considered an asset.
