Finning Canada is seeking two Service Operations Managers to lead a mining-focused service shop, delivering maintenance and repair services with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and profitability.

You will guide frontline leaders and teams, balance operational performance with employee engagement, and drive continuous improvement to maximize equipment availability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Leads a team of supervisors and frontline employees with coaching and growth support.
• Drives safety compliance and risk mitigation across operations.
• Manages workload planning, scheduling, and work order flow to meet commitments.
• Able to foster accountability, collaboration and psychological safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop supervisors and frontline staff with coaching and feedback.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee daily service operations including workload planning and scheduling.
• Partner with frontline leaders to build trust and accountability.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, service and equipment availability.
• Manage assets, branch resources, and budgets to meet financial goals.
• Monitor and report on performance, WIP, and priorities.
