Finning Canada is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead a high‑performing team of technicians in our Edmonton shop. You will supervise workflow, bay management, parts readiness and daily quality checks to deliver safe, fast, and reliable repairs.

The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on leadership, a strong technical background with CAT equipment, and a track record of elevating team performance while maintaining uncompromising safety standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician certification required.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience with Caterpillar equipment/engines.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead shop floor safety initiatives and maintain compliance with NSC.
• Oversee workflow coordination, bay management, and parts readiness.
• Coach and mentor technicians; conduct performance conversations.
• Ensure repair work meets safety, quality, and productivity targets.
• Monitor technician productivity and allocate manpower as needed.
• Ensure pre-job and post-job reviews and quality checks.
