Job summary

The City of Winnipeg through The Winnipeg Civic Employees' Benefits Program is seeking a Member Services Calculations Clerk C. This role focuses on pension and benefit calculations, supporting retirement, status changes, and death-related processing with strict confidentiality.

Under Pension Officer supervision, you will analyze transactions, project service and earnings, and prepare documentation for payments. Strong Excel and Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in business administration or finance.
  • Completion of the PPAC program or willingness to complete within three years.
  • Two years of previous professional experience required.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proven self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills under high volumes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform calculations and administrative tasks in support of pension and benefit payments.
  • Analyze transactions to determine information and processing procedures.
  • Research and project Members' service and earnings for pension calculations.
  • Ensure data integrity and privacy of Member records.
  • Prepare letters and documents using templates and provide information to Members.
