Job summary

HTU in Canada seeks a Pension Administration Associate to process routine pension transactions, enrolments, terminations, retirements, and beneficiary updates, while maintaining accurate member records.

You will prepare pension statements and benefit calculations, respond to member, employer, and union inquiries by phone and email, support payroll, and help ensure compliance with pension legislation and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Previous office or administrative experience is an asset.
  • Experience in pension or benefits administration is an asset but not required.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary between $53,000 - $60,000 annually.
