Job summary

OSNS Child & Youth Development Centre in Penticton, BC seeks an Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team. You will conduct screenings, assessments, and interventions, provide parent coaching, and deliver family-centered care on-site, with school and community visits.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Occupational Therapy, CHCPBC registration or eligibility, and RASP eligibility; a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience preferred, with strong team support available for training and development.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with clients, caregivers, and community partners to support outcomes.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities in a fast-paced, play-based setting.
• Ability to coordinate or co-lead educational groups with children, youth, and caregivers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; clinical judgment and competence.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with clinical and nonclinical members.
• Provide staff support and training as required.

Responsible to: Early Intervention Supervisor & Autism Intervention Supervisor

Status: 1.0 FTE or 0.8 FTE option, and a 1.0 18-month term available

Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with flexibility in hours

Location: Penticton, BC with some travel to outlying communities

Classification: Wage Schedule I – HSA

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary range: $45.15 to $56.17 hourly, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package, including:

About the Opportunity

We are seeking team members who believe in clinical collaboration and knowledge sharing. A clinician who practices effective partnerships with families and has strong communication skills and pediatric clinical passion. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with other clinical and nonclinical team members

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Pediatric experience preferred however, a strong supportive team is available to support training and development
