Job summary

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, Ontario invites applications for a Non-Registered Neurodiagnostic Technologist. This permanent full-time role offers hands-on training in advanced neurodiagnostic testing within our Neurophysiology team and provides a pathway toward CBRET certification and registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CBRET-recognized Neurophysiology program.
• Working toward eligibility to write Part 1 and/or Part 2 CBRET examinations.
• Willingness to obtain CBRET registration within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Learn to perform routine EEG procedures and obtain relevant neurological histories.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and prepare children for testing.
• Operate specialized neurodiagnostic equipment and produce detailed reports.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams and assist with equipment maintenance.
• Participate in CBRET certification and professional growth activities.
