Job summary

A healthcare organization in Brockville, Ontario is seeking an experienced Electroencephalographic Technologist. The candidate will perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests, primarily EEG, while ensuring quality recordings and collaborating with a team. Qualifications include a diploma in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology, current CPR certification, and preferably, three years of EEG experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential, with bilingualism as an asset.

Qualifications

• Current certification with the Canadian Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologists (CBRET) required or eligible for certification.
• Minimum of three years recent practical experience in EEG is preferred.
• English level A- is mandatory in oral expression, comprehension, and written expression.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-patient and out-patient neurodiagnostic tests including EEG.
• Achieve high level quality recordings and troubleshoot as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of tests performed.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize use of available resources.
