The Ottawa Hospital, based at the Civic Campus, is seeking a credentialed Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist to join our multi-campus team. This corporate position requires registration with CBRET or eligibility, a solid grounding in neuroanatomy, physiology, infection control, and strong communication skills.

You will rotate to other campuses, work days including weekends, 8-hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00), and support continued excellence in patient care across Eastern Ontario.

Competenze

• Diploma from a recognized Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Program.
• Registered with CBRET or eligible for registration.
• Good knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, infection control, basic electronics and electrical safety.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.

Position Information

This is a corporate position with a home base of the Civic Campus. Rotation to other campuses will be required.

Rotation/Shifts

Days, including weekends, 8 hour shifts (08:00 - 16:00)

Basic Requirements

• Diploma from a recognized Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Program;


• Registered with CBRET (Canadian Board of Registration of Electroneurophysiology Technologists) OR eligible for registration


• Good knowledge of neuroanatomy, physiology, infection control, basic electronics and electrical safety;


• Experience working with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications;


• Good written and verbal communication skills;


• Good interpersonal skills;


• Sound judgement and problem solving skills;


• Ability to work independently;


• Eligible to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

• Past experience or training in EEG;


• Proficiency in English and French oral expression (level 4 - advanced) and comprehension (level 4 - advanced).

The Ottawa Hospital uses a 5-level language proficiency scale to define the required level of language skills in English and in French for positions at the Hospital, and to evaluate job candidate language skills. Language proficiency requirements are based on the nature of the position at the level of interaction with French and English speaking clients.
