Job summary

Indigo is seeking a Specialist, Payroll to deliver timely and accurate payroll processing for Canada and the US, including high-volume hourly and salaried staff. You will review data uploads, handle employee changes, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial requirements.

The role partners with HR, Finance and store teams, uses UKG and Quinyx, and supports year-end activities such as T4s and W-2s. A Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of payroll experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Accounting, Finance or Human Resources.
• 3 years’ experience processing high-volume payroll.
• Certified Payroll Compliance Practitioner preferred.
• Experience with UKG payroll platform preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume payroll for salaried and hourly employees across Canada in compliance with employment standards and policies.
• Process low-volume payroll in the US.
• Review and upload automated data interfaces (hours, changes, etc.).
• Receive, review and action employee information changes (hires, terminations, increases).
• Process quarterly and annual bonus payments and year-end tasks (T4s/W-2s).
