Job summary

Cologix is seeking a Payroll Accounting Specialist to join our Accounting organization. This role will review and process bi-weekly payroll for U.S. and Canadian subsidiaries, report to the Senior Operational Accounting Manager, and support year-end reporting.

The ideal candidate has experience with Dayforce, GAAP, and cross-border payroll procedures. The position includes responsibilities for ROEs filings, W-2s, T4s, RL-1s, and 1099s, along with benefits and payroll compliance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or 5+ years payroll accounting experience.
• Experience processing payroll for U.S. and Canadian entities.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Familiarity with Dayforce preferred; French speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bi-weekly payroll review, payroll accounting and compliance for US/Canada.
• Maintain Dayforce payroll system and general ledger entries.
• Prepare quarterly and annual compliance filings; support year-end tasks.
