Job description

This individual will be responsible for full cycle payroll; from start to finish across Canada.

Responsibilities :

  • Handle full cycle payroll processing for both hourly and salaried employees.
  • Manage all aspects of benefits administration including enrolment, termination, and billing.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize the HRIS system for payroll and benefits data management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including payroll information and benefit elections.
  • Oversee timekeeping processes for hourly employees.
  • Work closely with supervisors to ensure accurate time submissions and approvals.
  • Analyze payroll and benefits data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports pertaining to payroll or benefits data.

Requirements :

  • 4-5 + years of related experience processing full cycle payroll.
  • Previous experience with year end and payroll legislation.
  • ADP, Ceridian or other payroll processing system experience is required.
  • Canadian (multi-province) experience is required (ON, BC, QB).
  • Advanced MS office skills; Excel.
  • Ability to process full cycle payroll.
  • Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
