Job description

Our client is seeking a Bilingual Payroll Specialist for a hybrid role at their corporate office in Mississauga. As a member of an experienced payroll team, you will assist with full payroll processing for over 1800 employees nationwide.

Office : Hybrid, 3 days in office.

Abbreviated Duties :

• Processing of a large, complex, national payroll.
• Oversee the preparation, processing, maintenance and distribution of a payroll information, payroll reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions.
• Processing : salary / wage increases, benefit deductions, employee terminations, new hire setup, salary / wages changes, benefit deductions, terminations
• Ensure processes and systems comply with Canadian provincial and federal legislation.
• Update documents, policies, processes as needed.
• Respond to enquiries and provide support across the company for payroll-related issues.

Experience

• Certified Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) - REQUIRED
• 3+ years large payroll processing experience, multi provincial
• Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
• Strong knowledge of payroll tax law & Employment Standards in Canada.
