Job summary

TransX Ltd. in Winnipeg is seeking a Payroll & Settlements Administrator to join the Human Resources team. You will ensure accurate payroll and settlements for Line Haul Drivers and Owner Operators, while maintaining compliance and confidentiality.

This role requires strong Excel skills, experience with payroll systems such as TMW and GP, and the ability to coordinate with Finance, IT, and HR to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Payroll knowledge preferred.
• 6–12 months of accounting/finance experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Understanding of Owner/Operator payroll structures.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing and administration for Line Haul Drivers and Owner Operators.
• Data management and compliance across Canada and the United States.
• Generate and maintain payroll reports for management and audits.
• Respond to payroll inquiries from drivers and internal teams; resolve discrepancies.
• Identify payroll process gaps and support system updates with cross-functional teams.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
