Job summary

TransX Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our Operations Department in a fast-paced logistics environment. The CSR will build long-lasting relationships with customers, respond to needs, use TMW systems for updates, and communicate service disruptions proactively.

This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and customers. Monday to Friday shifts 08:00–17:00.

Qualifications

  • Secondary Education required.
  • Logistics, supply chain, or trucking industry experience is an asset.
  • Experience with TMW or operational software is an asset.
  • Proficient computer literacy and ability to navigate operational software.

Responsibilities

  • Provide live customer service and support; track freight and communicate disruptions proactively.
  • Enter tenders, pickup/delivery appointments, service alerts, and additional costs for billing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, drivers, and customers to ensure on-time service.

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $60,000.00 Annually

Customer Service Representative

Shift: Monday to Friday (08:00-17:00)

TransX Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our Operations Department. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, the CSR is responsible for developing and maintaining long-lasting relationships between the organization and the customer while supporting organizational values and objectives. The incumbent promptly responds to customer needs, utilizes TMW systems to provide accurate updates, and proactively communicates any service disruptions or delays.

Building strong, professional relationships with internal operational teams, terminal personnel, drivers, and external customers is key to success in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communication & Relationship Building: Provide live customer service and support. Perform live freight tracking with proactive communication regarding any service disruptions. Participate in customer calls and meetings as required to build lasting relationships.
  • Order Creation & Maintenance: Ensure all tenders are accurately entered into the system with all pertinent information required to service the load on time. Enter all pickup/delivery appointments, service alerts for disruptions, and additional demurrage, detention, or extra costs for billing.
  • Freight Balance & Service: Actively source loads when freight needs do not meet network balance. Create Level of Service (LOS) reporting, identify service gaps, and participate in on-time service improvement plans. Perform other operational duties as assigned.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
  • Qualifications: Secondary Education required.
  • Experience: Logistics, supply chain, or trucking industry experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Technical Skills: Computer literate and proficient; experience with TMW or operational software is an asset. Knowledge of the trucking industry and associated rules/regulations (e.g., Hours of Service) is preferred.

    • Strong analytical thinking and proactive problem-solving abilities.
