Zusammenfassung

The Covenant Health Canada Nutrition and Food Services team invites applications for a Food Service Ambassador at Misericordia Community Hospital. You will inform patients how to order meals using room service, assist with meal orders, and serve meals with a friendly, professional approach.

You will use Windows-based software and smartphones to receive orders and communicate with the NFS team, participate in departmental meetings, help train new staff, and perform duties with minimal supervision

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 or recognized equivalent required.
• Proficiency in office procedures and computer applications in a Windows environment required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and has training in customer relations required.

Aufgaben

• Inform patients on how to order meals using the room service system.
• Assist patients as required in placing meal orders and serving meals.
• Communicate with the healthcare team to meet patient nutritional needs.
• Use technology (Windows environment and smartphones) to receive patient orders.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training of new staff.
