Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and/or call center experience preferred
• Experience in food service, dietary clerk, or related field preferred
• Fluent English; bilingual or multilingual a plus
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Comfort with technology including web-based software, keyboard, and telephone headset; typing 35–45 wpm
• Flexible and adaptable to change

Responsibilities

• Function in a fast-paced, call center environment where calls are recorded and assessed for performance.
• Maintain friendly, efficient, positive customer service with customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Adapt to customer needs and direct calls related to meals or nutritional needs.
• Use software to record patient orders.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accurate meal orders.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to ensure patient nutrition.
• Protect privacy and adhere to safety and sanitation standards while observing confidentiality.
• Comply with ARAMARK standards and conduct policy; maintain records to meet local, state, and federal regulations.
