Qualifications

• Previous medical reception experience.
• Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector check.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
• Experience working with MS Office suites.
• Familiarity with Med Access EMR software preferred.
• Enthusiastic and thrives in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register all patients upon arrival in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer multi-line phones.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments.
• Configures EMR appointment scheduler.
• Provide patients with support and guidance as needed.
• Completes daily EMR tasks as assigned.
• Update patient information in the EMR.
• Maintain a clean and efficiently ran reception and waiting room space.
• Sorts mail and monitors electronic and manual faxes.
• Other general administrative duties.
