Aboud Health Group in Mississauga, Ontario is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our front-desk team. You will manage scheduling, patient check-in, billing inquiries, and EMR usage to support our family medicine walk-in practice.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a medical receptionist role, familiarity with EMR systems, and strong organizational and communication skills. Flexible mornings/evenings and some weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a medical receptionist, ideally within primary care or family medicine.
Familiarity with EMR systems.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
Experience in a medical clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
Answering phone calls, scheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
Registering patients and verifying demographic information.
Coordinating patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times.
Managing incoming and outgoing faxes, mail, and electronic communication.
Ensuring patient confidentiality and handling medical records securely.
Collecting payments and managing billing inquiries.
Assisting with administrative tasks, including maintaining office supplies and inventory.
