Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Patient Service Representative to support ambulatory clinic operations at the Quivira Medical Pavilion. Qualifications

• Registered patients and verified insurance during scheduling and check-in.
• Handled front desk responsibilities, greeter role, and greeting patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and verify demographics, insurance, MSPQ, and referrals during scheduling.
• Schedule in-person, telehealth, surgeries, and ancillary services using Epic Cadence.
• Assist with MyChart activation, online check-in, and patient education.
• Collect copays and out-of-pocket payments at point of service.
• Provide coverage at alternate locations as needed to support staffing.
