Job summary

Pattison Agriculture in Kelvington, SK is hiring a Parts Technician to be the first point of contact for customers and handle parts sales, receiving, and delivery. This role supports a fast-paced dealership and collaborates closely with the broader team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in a Parts Department environment.
• Farming background/experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person and by phone.
• Assist customers with locating parts and placing orders.
• Suggest additional items for maintenance and upsell when appropriate.
• Support parts department tasks such as stocking and housekeeping.
• Receive, count, and organize inventory.
• Build strong relationships with customers and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience in person and on the phone
• Assist internal and external customers with troubleshooting, locating parts and resources, and placing orders
• Make suggestions for additional items that may be beneficial or help with preventative maintenance
• Assisting in all areas of the parts department as needed such as housekeeping, stocking shelves, merchandising
• Receive, put away and count inventory
• Build and maintain customer and co-worker relationships
• Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Agriculture parts and machinery knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience working with software systems
• The ability to lift heavy parts
• A valid driver’s license
• The ability to work flexible/extended hours and weekends
• Farming background/experience an asset
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Parts Department environment
• Journeyman Parts Designation an asset
