Job summary

Pattison Agriculture is seeking a Shop Helper for our fast-paced, energetic dealership in Maple Creek, SK. You will support the Service Department with maintenance, setup, and various duties while learning state-of-the-art ag technology and contributing to a collaborative team.

The role offers opportunities to grow, train, and advance within a leading John Deere dealer network across Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Experience with repairs/maintenance is preferred; mechanically minded.

Responsibilities

  • Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment.
  • Assist Service Technicians in the repair of equipment.
  • Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment required in set-up and delivery process.
  • May do pre-delivery inspection, assemble and service all types of equipment.
  • Maintenance, cleaning and tidying duties for all areas of the shop and grounds.
  • Ensure safety regulations are followed by self and others.
  • Participate in training to increase skills and knowledge.
  • Build and maintain constructive co-worker relationships.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
  • Be mechanicallyminded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
  • Knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems an asset
  • Farming background/experience an asset
  • Knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
  • High School Diploma/equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible hours, varying shifts, weekends, holidays
