Job summary

Pattison Agriculture in North Battleford, SK is seeking a Parts Technician (Shift) to join our fast-paced dealership. You will be the first point of contact for customers, assisting with locating parts, processing orders, and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Experience in agriculture parts and machinery is preferred.
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with software systems and lift heavy parts.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service in person and on the phone.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting, locating parts, and placing orders.
• Suggest additional items for maintenance and upsell when appropriate.
• Support all areas of the parts department including housekeeping and stocking.
• Receive, store, and count inventory accurately.
• Build and maintain customer and coworker relationships.
• Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge.

This shift is new to the location and may include a 4/10 Fri-Mon rotation including days/evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience in person and on the phone
• Assist internal and external customers with troubleshooting, locating parts and resources, and placing orders
• Make suggestions for additional items that may be beneficial or help with preventative maintenance
• Assisting in all areas of the parts department as needed such as housekeeping, stocking shelves, merchandising
• Receive, put away and count inventory
• Build and maintain customer and co-worker relationships
• Participate in training to develop skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Agriculture parts and machinery knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Experience working with software systems
• The ability to lift heavy parts
• A valid driver’s license
• The ability to work flexible/extended hours and weekends
• Farming background/experience an asset
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a Parts Department environment
• Journeyman Parts Designation an asset
