Job summary

Wajax is seeking a parts support professional to ensure timely, high-quality fulfillment of customer requests and to administer the company’s parts and warranty programs. The role covers daily parts sales support, driving operational excellence and training for Parts reps, while coordinating with customers and suppliers to meet service and cost expectations.

The candidate will bring 3–5 years of relevant experience, a college diploma in business, and strong MS Office skills to analyze budgets

Qualifications

  • College diploma or post-secondary education in commerce or business.
  • 3–5 years experience in service, parts, supply chain, or product support operations.
  • Experience budgeting and analyzing budgets; target development.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts requests are fulfilled to a quoted delivery date with high quality.
  • Support day-to-day parts sales operations and warranty programs at the branch.
  • Identify issues and collaborate with colleagues to resolve them promptly.
  • Provide training and support for all Parts reps.
  • Manage parts personnel performance, safety, training and customer service.
  • Coordinate with customers, suppliers and coworkers to fulfill orders and inquiries.

The Role

Accountable/responsible for ensuring parts requests are fulfilled at a high standard of quality to customers by quoted delivery date; ensuring consistent application and administration of the company’s parts and warranty programs.

  • Responsible for day-to-day support of the business of Parts sales to customers
  • Executes initiatives that contribute to long-term operational excellence and maximizes efficiencies including warranty programs and parts operations at the branch
  • Identify issues and work with branch co-workers to resolve them in a timely manner
  • Provide training and support for all Parts reps
  • Manage parts personnel performance, safety, training and customer service
  • Work with customers, suppliers and co-workers to fulfill parts orders and inquiries with service and cost expectations
The Candidate

Education: College diploma / Post secondary Education in Commerce, General Business or other related discipline

Work Experience: 3-5 years related experience in service, parts, supply chain or product support operations

Knowledge: Experience working with budgets, analyzing budgets and developing targets

Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
