Job summary

Wajax in Edmonton, Canada is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support service operations and billing processes. You will handle service billing, purchase orders, scheduling, warranty submissions, and customer communications to ensure timely and courteous service.

You will collaborate with the technical team, assist with shipping/receiving tasks, time-card entry, and fleet program administration. Prior office experience in service or parts is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years related experience in service, parts, supply chain or product support operations in an office setting.
• Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and/or truck & coach industry sectors is an asset
• Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

The Role

• Service billing.
• Issuing/receiving purchase orders.
• Assisting dispatch with work orders & scheduling.
• Warranty submission.
• Respond to customers via telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong internal and external service.
• Work in collaboration with the technical team.
• Other administrative duties for various lines of business.
• Time-card entry.
• Assisting the Service Department with Shipping/Receiving tasks.
• Assisting and maintaining the billing and maintenance of our fleet program.

The Candidate

• Work Experience: 2 years related experience in service, parts, supply chain or product support operations in an office setting.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of heavy equipment and/or truck & coach industry sectors is an asset
• Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
