Job summary

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our Coquitlam, British Columbia team. You will provide sales and technical support to Parts customers and the Service department while managing the receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a related parts sales role, strong MS Office skills, and a customer-oriented mindset. This onsite role offers opportunity for commission in addition to base pay.

Qualifications

• At least two years in a related parts sales role.
• Experience with material handling or heavy equipment parts is a strong asset.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Customer-oriented with strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Sell parts products and provide excellent service to customers.
• Contribute to the achievement of branch revenue and margin targets.
• Provide pricing and parts availability solutions for requested quotes.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes, working to close all possible orders.
• Provide Service Technicians with required parts.
• Oversee inventory and request required parts.
• Support with the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound orders.
• Collect payment from customers and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Process customer credits and returns efficiently.
• Record all sales transactions and verify receiving documents.

The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Parts Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to our Parts customers and the Service department, in addition to managing the receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories.

As a Parts Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers
• Contributing to the achievement of branch revenue and margin targets
• Providing multiple solutions for pricing and parts availability for requested quotes
• Following up on outstanding quotes, working to close all possible orders
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts
• Overseeing inventory and requesting required parts
• Supporting with the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound orders
• Collecting payment from customers and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Processing customer credits and returns efficiently
• Recording all sales transactions and verifying receiving documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least two years of experience in a related parts sales role
• Experience with material handling, or heavy equipment parts is a strong asset
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A customer-oriented mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
• Confident self-starter with the ability to work effectively autonomously

The base pay range for this role is: $52,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience, plus commission.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
