Job summary

Leavitt Machinery in Coquitlam, BC is seeking a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team. You will provide sales and technical support to parts customers and the service department, manage the receiving, delivery and inventory of parts and accessories.

The role requires at least two years in parts sales, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. This onsite position offers a base pay of $52,000–$55,000 CAD per year plus commission with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a related parts sales role.
• Experience with material handling, or heavy equipment parts is a strong asset.
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• A customer-oriented mindset and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Confident self-starter able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers.
• Contributing to branch revenue and margin targets.
• Providing pricing and parts availability solutions for quotes.
• Following up on outstanding quotes and closing orders where possible.
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts.
• Overseeing inventory and requesting parts as needed.
• Supporting shipping and receiving of inbound/outbound orders.
• Collecting payments and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Processing customer credits and returns efficiently.
• Recording sales transactions and verifying receiving documents.

The Opportunity

Leavitt Machinery is looking for a motivated Parts Sales Representative to join our team in Coquitlam, British Columbia. As the Parts Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing sales and technical support to our Parts customers and the Service department, in addition to managing the receiving, delivery, and inventory of parts and accessories.

As a Parts Sales Representative, your key responsibilities will include:

• Selling parts products and providing excellent service to customers
• Contributing to the achievement of branch revenue and margin targets
• Providing multiple solutions for pricing and parts availability for requested quotes
• Following up on outstanding quotes, working to close all possible orders
• Providing Service Technicians with required parts
• Overseeing inventory and requesting required parts
• Supporting with the shipping and receiving of inbound and outbound orders
• Collecting payment from customers and following up to ensure customer satisfaction
• Processing customer credits and returns efficiently
• Recording all sales transactions and verifying receiving documents

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:

• At least two years of experience in a related parts sales role
• Experience with material handling, or heavy equipment parts is a strong asset
• Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail

The base pay range for this role is: $52,000 to $55,000 per year depending on experience, plus commission.

This is an onsite role based in Coquitlam, British Columbia.
